Dyrdek's 'Fantasy' toy adventure begins July 23 at the Con, jumping Jabba

MTV star and Ohio's favorite son Rob Dyrdek will be at the Con in San Diego.

The skateboarding, shoe and apparel entrepreneur promotes his first authentic street skating and more.

MTV’s Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory star and entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek will be at this year’s Comic Con Convention in San Diego, California on July 23 and 24 to promote the new action-oriented, Rob Dyrdek’s Wild Grinders figures created by the skateboarding icon. 

Dyrdek will be signing autographs at the Mattel booth (#3029) on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24 from 2:00-3:00pm and at the Entertainment Earth/Toys “R” Us booth (#2343) on Saturday, July 24th from 11:00am – 12:00pm.

Wild Grinders is a brand based in fun and humor with an authentic take on the street skateboarding culture.  It was developed by Dyrdek in 2008 from his experiences as a boy who grew up skateboarding and living the skateboard culture.  Dyrdek and Moonscoop are now developing plans to grow the brand across online, mobile, and TV/video platforms including appearances in future episodes of Dyrdek’s hit MTV series Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory. 

The new Mattel-produced toy line will expand upon a line of action figures launched in 2009 at retail which saw brisk sales and quickly became a highly-coveted item among fans.
