Kathy Griffin takes Scott Brown on in Bravo Show, video

Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown is the latest fodder for comedian Kathy Griffin  to take aim at.  The red-headed Bravo star normally saves her cracks for entertainment personalities like Ryan Seacrest, Levi Johnston, Oprah Winfrey and her BFF Gayle.

Griffin, star of “My Life on the D List” was interviewed by CNN married couple John King and Dana Bash on the Bravo network Tuesday night.

Griffin prefaced the segment explaining that like Sarah Palin being coached by the GOP before her speeches, the CNN couple were running through some photos of Brown for Kathy to formulate her talking points.

Griffin identifies Brown in the picture, saying, “Scott Brown, who is a senator from Massachusetts and has two daughters that are prostitutes.”

King shakes his head and looks down, and Bash cracks up at Griffin’s comment.

Brown is not amused at the jokes made at his daughters' expense.  Brown's daughter Ayla Brown is a contributor for CBS’ “The Early Show.” Arianna Brown is currently a pre-med student at Syracuse University.

“People can call me any name they want, but families are off limits," he said in the statement made through spokeswoman Gail Gitcho. "I love my daughters Ayla and Arianna very much, and any parent would be proud to have them as children. Kathy Griffin and Bravo ought to be ashamed of themselves.”

The segment ends with a disclaimer “from Bravo’s legal team,” saying the girls are not, in fact, “prostitutes.”
