"House" returns Monday, September 20, on FOX.
Amber Tamblyn has signed on to appear in the upcoming season for a multi-episode story arc. She will play a brilliant and aggressive medical student whom House (Hugh Laurie) hires as a new team member although she is technically not yet qualified to practice medicine.
Tamblyn’s character will be confronted with the morally and ethically questionable way that House practices medicine.
The seventh season begins Monday, Sept. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Tamblyn’s breakout role was the title character in the critically acclaimed television series “Joan of Arcadia.” Her work on the show earned her both Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations, and for her work opposite Tilda Swinton in the film “Stephanie Daley,” Tamblyn was honored with a Film Independent Spirit Award nomination in 2007. She will next be seen in Danny Boyle’s “127 Hours” opposite James Franco and in John Doyle’s “Main Street” with Orlando Bloom and Colin Firth.
