"Celebrity Apprentice" winner and "America's Got Talent" judge Piers Morgan is reportedly "the guy" CNN will pick to replace Larry King on CNN.
NBC and CNN are negotiating a major deal which would allow Morgan to do the King CNN nightly chatter and the NBC talent show, according to The New York Times.
Former tabloid editor Morgan, 45, is the tall, dapper "nice" British judge, who unlike his friend Simon Cowell, kills you with impeccable English and kindness. Piers recently wed Celia Walden.
Recently Piers had honed his skills on ITV's "Piers Morgan's Life Stories," both of which featured Morgan sitting down with the famous.
Joy Behar and Ryan Seacrest were the top rumored nods for the coveted position.
Will you tune in for Piers? Was this a good decision for CNN? Talk Back.
