'Pretty Little Liars' is ABC Family's surprisingly chilling thriller that takes a group of teen girls in high school as they try to piece together one wild night that ended in their friend "A" disappearing, only to turn up dead a year later.
Nobody can remember, except "A" who is now torturing each girl by texts, lipsticked messages on mirrors, notes and other forms of communication.
ABC Family has picked up 12 more episode of our guilty pleasure summer show, "Pretty Little Liars," for a full 22-episode season.
Kate Jeurgens, the EVP of Original Programming released a statement, "'Pretty Little Liars' is a breakout hit for the network. It's a perfect fit with the network's strong slate of original scripted dramas."
The show launched ABC Family's highest-ever series debut in key demographics.
The series, like "Twilight" and "True Blood" is also based on a book series. The break out star for M&C is Aria (Lucy Hale).
