International Football star and former England Captain David Beckham may well have won the honour of being among the final guests to take part in the last ever edition of "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross."
A show that has been a mainstay with the BBC for about 13 years.
According to The Sun Newspaper, the former England Captain has been brought in by the BBC because executives refused to allow Ross to interview controversial comedian Russell Brand, due to the fact that they want to avoid another sachsgate scandal.
Sachsgate being the name that the press attached to the obscene phone messages that Brand and Ross made back in 2008.
A phone call which prompted Brand to walk away from the BBC, and saw Ross suspended for a time from hosting both radio and television on the BBC.
"It's all very top secret but Becks has been booked and he's really excited," a source claimed. "It will be just after the World Cup so there will be plenty to talk about.”
After this final show with the BBC. We will likely see Jonathan Ross host a show elsewhere, but exactly what channel he will move to remains as yet to be determined.
'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' will conclude on July 16.
