Texas beauty and American TV icon Farrah Fawcett died a year ago, and Ryan O'Neal, with whom she had a son Redmond, spoke about his long-time love on the smallscreen in an interview on the TODAY show.
O'Neal spoke about her ghost in the house they shared, the fact he missed her cooking and lamented he hadn't had a decent meal since she passed, and that troubled son Redmond was "thunderstruck" at the passing of his mother.
He also shared he visited Farrah Fawcett's grave on the 1-year anniversary of Farrah's death from cancer at age 62.
Ryan, 69, and Redmond, 25, both went to the Westwood Memorial cemetery where Farrah rests.
Ryan shared that Redmond, incarcerated on drug charges when his mother died, was sober: "His mother would be proud of him."
Alana Stewart, Ryan, Redmond and Tatum O'Neal also joined together to celebrate the new Farrah Fawcett Foundation, which funds alternative cancer research.
