Could Jonathan Ross be looking to move to ITV?
According to a report in The News Of The World UK Talk Show host Jonathan Ross could be making a move to ITV as part of a £2 Million deal.
The chat show host decided not to renew his contract with the BBC after the scandal, which involved his and comedian Russell Brand’s obscene phone call to respected actor Andrew Sachs.
If the new deal goes through with ITV it will allow Ross to continue to do work for other channels.
A source told the News Of The World: "Channel 4 really wants Jonathan. But it can't spend the same amount of money as ITV so any deal would be for smaller shows.
"ITV boss Peter Fincham also loves Jonathan's work, so he made an initial approach and things developed from there."
Another source revealed that Ross will continue to host the BAFTA’s for the BBC, and has expressed his interested in hosting the British Comedy Awards, which are moving to Channel 4.
