CNN's Larry King is an American Institution of sit-down interviews, wearing his trademark iconic suspenders, glasses and delivering a style honed over years of getting the famous to open their proverbial Kimonos and reveal all.
Piers Morgan recently revealed his diplomatic interview skills on ITV's chat show, "Piers Morgan's Life Stories," that features the tall Brit questioning the famous (including politicians) in their surroundings, asking difficult questions with unflappable style.
Now The Telegraph (UK) claims that Morgan is slated to replace King in a CNN deal
worth many millions to the Englishman.
The Britain's Got Talent judge came up from print, an editor in the rough and tumble British tabloid world. Morgan - according to the Telegraph - is being presented with a four-year contract to fill in for an apparently retiring King.
If the CNN deal pans out, Morgan would jettison his Britain's Got Talent spot and move to the USA.
