HBO sent M&C new trailers for their anticipated drama series, "Boardwalk Empire," premiering this September.
The series is from Terence Winter, the Emmy Award-winning writer of “The Sopranos,” and Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese. The cast includes Steve Buscemi as Nucky Johnson, Michael Pitt as Jimmy Darmody; Aleksa Palladino as Jimmy's wife; Michael Shannon as Van Alden; Kelly MacDonald as Margaret; Vincent Piazza as a Lucky Luciano; Stephen Graham as Al Capone; Anthony Laciura as Louis Kessel; Shea Whigham as Eli Johnson and Paul Sparks as a bootlegging funeral director.
"Boardwalk Empire" is set in Atlantic City at the beginning of the Prohibition movement in America. HBO describes the scene:
"Wall Street was about to boom, everything was for sale and it was a time of change when women got the vote, broadcast radio began and young people ruled the world."
