By April MacIntyre Jun 9, 2010, 18:04 GMT

Showtime network's Original Latin Divas' star Monique Marvez will join comic impresario Kiki Melendez' latest Hot Tamales revue, also featuring Thea Vidale, Rick Najera, Nadine Rajabi, Douglas Williams III, and Joey Vega at the famous Conga Room in Los Angeles on June 12.

Marvez is just off her FOX Sports en Espanol mobile upfront junket and East coast comedy tour, Vidale is appearing on Comedy Central Premium Blend and Howard Stern, Najera is performing Daddy Diaries: Diary of a Dad Man at the Covina Center for the Performing Arts, Rajabi has a hot radio show, "Nadine @ Nite", which can be heard on National Lampoon Comedy Radio on XM Channel 154 and Vega is producing and starring in comedy shorts on Atom.com.

Along with these top comics, Melendez has booked the world's youngest comedian, Doug Williams III, to perform with her seasoned crew.

Melendez urges those attending to be on time: "Don’t be late! Doug has to be in bed by 9:00pm!"

Young Doug Williams III has been “sprouting” since “I was my father’s seed,” the lad quips. Now at the age of five years old, "Doug 3" has many hours of stage time under his belt.

A natural on-camera and onstage, Dougie is a happy, energetic little boy who is full of life and enjoys playing sports and video games with his brother.  Doug tells Monsters and Critics he "loves God and he loves to have fun and make everybody laugh.”

Doug first got on stage at the age of two when he warmed up the crowd of 1,200 people for his dad, comedian Doug Williams Jr., at the taping of Starz' "Martin Lawrence Presents: The 1st Amendment Standup” at the historic Lincoln Theater in Washington D.C.

He only had two jokes at the time and when he was done; his mom had a hard time pulling him off stage because he wanted to keep going.

The smallscreen beckoned young Doug, who appeared in a pilot written by his mom and dad entitled “Domestic Doug,” and at age three, Doug had done an episode of “Los Ninos En Su Casa.”

When Doug turned five years old, his dad was performing at a family comedy show in Hollywood and young Doug asked if he could tag along. His grandfather, a comedian too, is always teaching his grandson Doug jokes, (and is constantly being reminded to keep them clean).

Performing at his school and with his dad for charity benefits, young Doug has graced the stages of The Union and the LA Improv.

Comedian Stevie Mack has made Doug III a regular in his variety comedy room in Los Angeles.

The comedy gene is not just from dear old dad.  Dougie’s mom was four months pregnant when she was performing comedy sketches with Kiki Melendez’ popular show “Hot Tamales Live” at the Comedy Store on Sunset with "Tamale" co-founder actress Eva Longoria.

His mom was seven months pregnant with the little Doug when she shot the film “My BackYard Was a Mountain.”

Fans of raucous, spot-on topical humor with a Latin flavor can catch Doug Williams III this coming June 12 at the Conga room with Kiki Melendez and the highly acclaimed “Hot Tamales Live” crew.

The event will benefit the March of Dimes.

Monsters and Critics caught up with young Doug and talked comedy:

Monsters and Critics:  Doug, when did you get your first laugh - that you remember?

Doug Williams III: When I just turned 5 years old. I went with my dad to a comedy club and I went on stage and took the mic and told my jokes on stage.

M&C:  What do you find funny, at age five?

Doug: Well, having fun and making people laugh!

M&C:  Which comedians do you find funny, and like to listen too?

Doug: My dad is really funny, but he curses on stage sometimes.

M&C:  How do you feel about performing with the Hot Tamales June 12? Any  thoughts about your fellow performers?

Doug: I feel great and ready to have some fun. Kiki is the only one I know and she is funny when she dances on stage.

M&C:  Where do you get your "funny"? From Mom or Dad?

Doug: Both of them and my little brother too. My dad is always on stage telling jokes. And well, my mom is funny when she does her acting stage. My little brother he is three years old and he just did his first standup comedy on stage on Sunday. He was funny but he was doing all of my jokes.  But I told him “it was okay little broh, you could do my jokes.”

M&C: Your favorite Subject in school is...?

Doug: I like when I go to my theater class because my teacher Ms. Jill does silly things and we get to do silly things. It’s really funny and fun.
