Addicts and liars never prosper, especially under the bug light of a tightly monitored hospital emergency room where the ever vigilant Mrs. Akalitus (Anna Deavere Smith) roams the halls.
Then there's the Eddie (Paul Schulze) problem.
Nurse Jackie's (Edie Falco) ex lover is under foot at All Saints Hospital, back in the saddle after being replaced with a pill-dispensing robot.

Both Kevin (Dominic Fumusa) and Dr. O'Hara (Eve Best) have become more and more suspicious of Jackie's erratic behavior.
With the walls closing in, will our “girl” be able to talk herself out of yet another close call or will her family's discovery turn into the ultimate buzzkill?
