Party Down, when the going gets tough, the team chokes this Friday, courtesy of Starz
"Party Down" unwinds this week for a rare day off, and an almost "Glee" styled showdown between Valhalla catering and the PD gang.
Buttoned-down Uda (Kristen Bell) is back as Henry (Adam Scott) must decide if Casey (Lizzie Caplan) is the "dice" he wants to roll, or a seemingly more safe path replete with a 401K and a dental plan.

Intrigued by the notion of a trophy, Casey takes out her frustration on an overachieving party picnic games blowhard named Garland Greenbush (!), described as a "winning machine."

An unlucky horse shoe to the back is a game changer for Ron (Ken Marino), all dressed up and a company picnic to work. His red-headed "universe orderer" just so happens to be the boss, Bollas Lagosh's (!) daughter.
Kyle (Ryan Hansen) and Roman (Martin Starr) are pwned over and again by a smug, better looking catering crew who are all decked out in Madonna Headsets and snarky attitudes. In between humiliations, Kyle tutors 14 year-old Escapade, who has fired Lydia (Megan Mullally) and swigs out of a beer bottle. Roman pep talks Lydia to be "the bigger asshole" when it comes to Darwinian Hollywood tactics.

We have some clips from the episode for those of you who can’t wait until Friday night.
From Starz:
"Kristen Bell makes a surprise return in this week’s episode of Party Down – but she finds herself in direct competition with her former colleagues. In this week’s episode, 'Party Down Company Picnic', competition is the word of the day as Ron (Ken Marino) competes for a job at the head office, Casey (Lizzy Caplan) vies for best all around at the events and Roman (Martin Starr) and Kyle (Ryan Hansen) compete with Val Halla catering in kickball."
Party Down airs on Friday, June 4 at 10:00p e/p on Starz.
