Mixed messages between the sexes and misunderstood expressions are the frosting on this week's "Party Down" cake, as the Starz comedy features great scenes with Ron (Ken Marino), Lydia (Megan Mullally) and Roman (Martin Starr) who each learn something.

The catering crew get cultured this Friday night on Party Down: At a community theater, the onstage farce trickles into real life as Kyle (Ryan Hansen) promises to help his old mentor (Jim Piddock) by romancing a wealthy female patron (Rachael Harris) with the funds to save the theater.

This week’s episode features special guest stars Rob Huebel, Rachael Harris, Kerry Kenny-Silver and is directed by David Wain.

Tune into Starz on Friday  5/28 @10:00p e/p to catch episode 206 ('Not On Your Wife Opening Night’) and check out the preview clips below.

A new episode of Gravity premieres immediately following Party Down on Friday, May 28 at 10:30 p.m. e/p on Starz.

• Cougar or Bear? - Casey (Lizzy Caplan) gives Lydia (Megan Mullally) a lesson on modern colloquialisms.

• The Direct Approach - Ron (Ken Marino) misreads Lydia's (Megan Mullally) signals.
