This week's Real Time with Bill Maher sees Scott Turow and Philippe Cousteau, Jr. as some of the booked guests.
Last week during his monologue, Bill made hay with Tea Party candidate Rand Paul, likening him to Sarah Palin, if she had gone to medical school.
Maher's show continues its eighth season Friday, May 28 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), exclusively on HBO, with an instant replay at 11:00 p.m., following the live presentation.
Allowing Maher to offer his unique perspective on contemporary issues, the show includes an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists, and interviews with in-studio and satellite guests.
The roundtable guests this week are journalist Jonathan Alter, political strategist Patrick Ruffini and academic Cornel West; conservationist Philippe Cousteau, Jr. and novelist Scott Turow are interview guests.
Other HBO playdates: May 30 (1:00 p.m., 2:55 a.m.) and 31 (8:00 p.m.), and June 2 (11:00 p.m.)
