It was announced that Sandra Bullock is to be honored at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards today, but the question looms: Will she leave Texas or Louisiana to receive her award at the show?
Sandra Bullock will attend the MTV Movie Awards on June 6, her rep tells UsMagazine.com.
The actress, 46, will accept the "MTV Generation Award."

Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock will receive the “MTV Generation Award” during the “2010 MTV Movie Awards” for her riveting and diverse contributions to the film industry and for entertaining generations of the MTV audience over the last two decades.
Bullock is the first woman to get the honor, and is considered one of the most accomplished and beloved actresses of her time.
Since her breakout role in the 1994 hit action film “Speed,” Bullock has captivated audiences by starring in blockbuster motion pictures that include “While You Were Sleeping,” “A Time To Kill,” “Crash,” “Miss Congeniality,” “Hope Floats,” “Two Weeks Notice” and her “2010 MTV Movie Awards” nominated fan-favorites “The Proposal” and “The Blind Side.”
The “MTV Generation Award” is the “MTV Movie Awards” highest honor, acknowledging an actor who has engaged the MTV audience throughout their career. Past recipients include Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey. Hosted by Aziz Ansari, the “2010 MTV Movie Awards” will be broadcast LIVE from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 6 at 9p.m./8p.m.C.
“Sandra is one of those rare individuals who is adored by our audience as both an actress and a role model,” said Stephen Friedman, General Manager, MTV. “Recognizing her remarkable talent, amazing range of films and her visceral connection to our audience around the globe, we are honored to present her with our ‘MTV Generation Award.’”
As previously announced, movie megastars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, the cast of “The Grown Ups” including Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Aubrey Plaza, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Shaun White, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Russell Brand are confirmed to present popcorn statues.
