Jane Lynch to host Do Something Awards July 19

White hot actress Jane Lynch of "Glee" and "Party Down" is inked to host the Do Something awards in July.
DoSomething.org announced that Lynch will host The 2010 VH1 Do Something Award Show on Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, televised LIVE on VH1.
The final five nominees and grant recipients to be honored during the show were also revealed.
Each nominee (age 25 and under) is honored for their commitment to service and social change with a community grant of $10,000. Of these five nominees, a grand prize winner will receive a $100,000 grant for their cause.
DoSomething.org is one of the largest organizations in the US that helps young people rock causes they care about by creating a culture of volunteerism, DoSomething.org is on track to activate two million young people in 2011.

A comedic genius for over twenty years, Jane Lynch recently used her talent for this weekends box office smash Shrek Forever After. This year, Lynch earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role of Sue Sylvester, the aggressive cheerleading coach in Foxs Golden Globe winning series, Glee. When taking a break from her busy schedule, Lynch gives back to a number of charities nationwide.
DoSomething.org also announced the 2010 celebrity categories, honoring the entertainment industry for its continued dedication to activism and charity projects. All voting for these categories, including influential celebrities, musicians, comedians, and athletes, inspiring films and television shows, and social media initiatives can be done by the public at DoSomething.VH1.com.
