'Too Fat' Chris Noth on Lopez Tonight, video

"Sex and the City 2" Star Chris Noth gained too much weight to play his role in the film franchise.

Late-night talk show host George Lopez chats with actor Chris Noth, Chili from TLC and former "American Idol" Allison Iraheta on "Lopez Tonight" Wednesday, May 19.

Chris Noth reveals to George Lopez that he was "too big" to play Mr. Big for "Sex and the City 2":

Chris: "I had been doing a play and the character was a political advisor and they said 'you've got a fat gut there.' in the play basically and I said 'I'm gonna get a fat gut...I've got to prepare.' I came out of that play and Michael Patrick King met with me a couple of months before the shoot and he took one look at that stomach bouncing off the floor and he said 'Dude, we're not calling you Mr. Big because of that stomach.  Get somewhere and lose it fast. You've gotta be in shape. You've gotta look great for this film.' So I went off to a place in Brazil...I went to a place called The Island Experience on an island that did yoga, hiking and kayaking for 10 days.  So I got in pretty good shape for the movie."

Classy lady Chili of TLC takes the tone of the show in a different direction as she explains how important size is in a man for an apparently cavernous roomy gal like herself:

Chili: "You know that saying 'It's not the size of the boat but the motion of the ocean.' Well it is the size of the boat.  I want a yacht!

George: "How do you want to see the yacht? Do you ever do like a random yacht check?"

Chili: "You have to inspect before you make the purchase. It's very simple, you just say 'Can I see it'?"
