"Celebrity Apprentice" frontrunner and rocker Bret Michaels appeared on the Wednesday “Oprah” show looking a bit worse for the wear, but grateful to be alive and speaking to the daytime media Queen.
Oprah asked the "Rock of Love" VH1 star if he felt he had a new higher purpose in life after his near fatality. "When I think of all the crazy things I have done in my life, I am just grateful to be here," said the rocker.
Access Hollywood asked Bret's people about a visible droopiness to one side of Bret's face. “Yes, there is a slight, noticeable drooping on one side of Bret’s face,” a rep for the star confirmed. “Yes, this is a result of the hemorrhage and possibly exacerbated by some of the medications he is on.
The sudden brain hemorrhage happened in April, weeks after an emergency appendectomy. The rocker shared his ordeal when the pain began suddenly to the initial hospitaliztion when doctors told his girlfriend to gather the children and bring to Bret's bedside to say goodbye.
The finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice” will be aired live on NBC on Sunday, and no word officially if he is to make it. Bret is slated to return to his tour later this month to support his latest album "Custom Built" due June 8.
