The curse of the three named leads has struck at CBS.
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Julia Louis-Dreyfus are out of their respective shows at CBS, announced today after the new shows were revealed earlier in the week.
Out are "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Ghost Whisperer," the latter a long running series that began in 2005 and was a Friday night ratings performer for many years.
CBS is picking up the comedy "Rules of Engagement" and long running drama "Medium," a show it took over from NBC.
This announcement today adds to the overall body count of "Cold Case," "Numb3rs," "Miami Medical," "Gary Unmarried" and "Accidentally on Purpose."
