NBC has picked up Jerry Bruckheimer's scripted drama "Chase" - the fifth scripted series order for fall.
According to a press statement from NBC, "Chase" comes from executive producer Jennifer Johnson.
Also green lit are "Undercovers," "The Event," Working Title anthology "Love Bites" and comedy "Outsourced."
"'Chase' has all the undeniable elements of a thrill ride that you would expect from a Jerry Bruckheimer action series," said NBC/Universal Media Studios primetime prexy Angela Bromstad. "Equally important, it also features a great cast. Kelli Giddish is a breakout star as the lead."
Another tale of a U.S.Marshal (USA's In Plain Sight, FX's Justified), "Chase" stars Giddish who tracks down dangerous fugitives.
Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Rose Rollins and Jesse Metcalfe also star.
David Nutter directed and served as EP on the pilot.
