MythBusters 'Duct Tape Hour 2' on May 12, previews

Discovery's MythBuster's will take the awesomeness of Duct Tape to another level next week.

'Duct Tape Hour 2' Premieres May 12 at 9pm ET/PT

It was one of the most popular episodes ever when the MythBusters put duct tape through its paces in the first Duct Tape Hour; fans went into a frenzy, demanding that more duct tape tall tales be put to the test. 

In this second Duct Tape stick-tacular, Adam and Jamie push their limits.

They plan to build a Duct Tape Bridge, using nothing but the mythical material to cross a concrete chasm 100 feet wide and 50 feet deep.

Yet there are many questions that need answering: How much duct tape will it take to support their weight?  How will they stick their bridge to the sides of the chasm? How can they stop the tape from stretching?

Can Duct Tape replace waxing and shaving for a depilatory?

Adam and Jamie bring all their skills to bear on this challenge. However, when it comes time to walk the walk, the normally unflappable Jamie finds himself trapped in a nightmare. He hates heights, and he isn't getting good vibrations from the bridge.  Meanwhile, Kari's dark side is unleashed on a poor, unsuspecting car, which she tears apart (with the help of four brawny firemen) while Grant and Tory repair the vehicle using nothing but duct tape. 

Not only does the rebuilt car have to look okay, it has to stay together as Kari takes it for a top-speed spin on a test track. Will our duct tape car drive? Or disintegrate? In order to prep an automobile for a date with duct tape, Kari puts her destructive powers to work.

Is it really possible to stop a car with duct tape? Watch as Grant, Kari and Tory attempt to test out an age-old prank.While creating a bridge made completely of duct tape, Adam creates yet another Savage original.
