John Goodman in Best Food Ever previews, Mon. night food on TLC

Monday is all you can eat night on TLC, which has John Goodman bringing the tasty on "Best Food Ever" tonight.

"Best Food" producers locate the USA's good eats and culinary treasures and interviews the brains behind the mouth-watering methods and innovative ingredients used in each amazing meal. The series is narrated by "Treme" star John Goodman.

Each episode will count down the country's top ten food destinations in a specific category.

First up, sensational sandwiches. (We nominate the Cuban sandwich from Portos Bakery in Burbank, CA, the classic Italian cold cuts from Italia Deli in Agoura, CA and the Heidelberg Hero from Dunderbaks in Houston).

Narrated by John Goodman, the series airs Mondays at 9pm only on TLC.

Then the "Ultimate Chili Challenge" airs at 10/9c on TLC

Chili is as American as apple pie, cokes and lobster rolls in the summer.

Everyone has a unique twist on the classic recipe.

Welcome to the World Championship Chili Cook-off, a hearty mixture of meat, spices, peppers and die-hard competitors dead-set on taking home the gold!

This series will follow four contestants as they prepare and then compete in the hottest competition in the world.
Monday, May 3 starting at 9pm.  Follows "Best Food Ever."
