Showtime's "Dexter" star Michael C. Hall is reported to be recovered from his treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
According to Hall's wife Jennifer Carpenter, the actor is "fully recovered" from and back to work, she told The Associated Press.
North Carolina native Michael C. Hall's father passed away from prostate cancer when the actor was 11.
Carpenter, 30, also plays Hall's character Dexter's sister Deb on the popular series.
She told the AP that Hall was "incredibly brave" for coming forward about his cancer diagnosis in January.
The couple were seen together at the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards where Hall received the Best Actor awards. The dramatic season was highlighted by the addition of guest stars John Lithgow, Keith Carradine and also featured an exemplary performance by his wife Jennifer Carpenter, whose character Deb is a detective who works alongside Dexter.
The season ended with Deb starting to close in on Dexter's dark secret, and Rita's murder (Julie Benz, Dexter's wife) at the hands of the Trinity Killer (Lithgow).
"Dexter" is back on Showtime for a fifth season later this year.
