Tim Urban the perpetual grinner has been dispatched by the voters on American Idol.
The long long long "Idol Gives Back" special and charity concert Wednesday night saw Tim Urban voted off.
For the first time the golden boy, Casey James, sashayed over to the bottom votes chairs.
Highlight for the A-list talent for me was hearing and seeing Annie Lennox from London. (Blame the volcano for her being there and not LA).
Comics George Lopez and Wanda Sykes each had a nice set, with Lopez and Seacrest exchanging some zingers, Lopez dissing Ryan's short height and Seacrest thanking "Erik Estrada," a known nemesis of Lopez's.
Next up were Lee Dewyze and Aaron Kelly, both safe. Then it was Siobhan Magnus, Michael Lynche and Urban in last group to face Seacrest, with Tim Urban in the bottom three (again).
After he was announced out, Tim Urban did not get a chance to sing one more time, due to time constraints.
Next week will see country icon Shania Twain as guest mentor.
