Sacred Acre and Kobe Goes Home on E:60 for ESPN April 13

On ESPN's E:60, the producers returns to the scene of Iowa H.S. Football Murder
and feature Kobe Bryant returning to Philadelphia, on Tuesday, 7 p.m., ET ESPN.
The award-winning newsmagazine E:60 returns with five consecutive weeks of new programs, continuing its high standard of investigative journalism, exclusive interviews and long-form television storytelling.
Tuesday:
Sacred Acre – For the past two years, E:60 has followed the story of Ed Thomas, the celebrated Iowa high school football coach who helped his town rebuild after a devastating tornado, only to be later murdered by one of his former players. Following Mark Becker’s recent conviction for the killing, reporter Steve Cyphers returns to Iowa for exclusive interviews with Thomas’ widow, Jan, and members of the Becker family. The Thomas and Becker families, friends before the tragedy, have helped each other with the healing process.
Kobe Goes Home
Also: The Sporting Life with Jeremy Schaap (Friday, 10 p.m., ESPN Radio)
Although he was a suburban Philadelphia high school basketball standout, Kobe Bryant has never enjoyed a warm relationship with his hometown and has often been booed when his Lakers have played the 76ers. Reporter Lisa Salters goes back to Philadelphia with Bryant where they visit some of his favorite places and learn that the estranged relationship may be warming.
