Rod Blagojevich wears everybody out finally, Celebrity Apprentice fires him

Watching "Celebrity Apprentice" for me is a no miss Sunday night event. I have been fascinated by this season, as I was last season with Joan Rivers and her Whore Pit Viper nemesis.

If you had a sour opinion about career politicians as I have, watching disgraced ex Governor Rod Blagojevich has been a reinforcing experience.  Politician-speak (talking in circles and generally using BS terminology) was taken to new heights as the Guv hemmed and hawed week after week, passed the buck, refused to man up and learn some new skill and even make one concise declarative statement. 

These character flaws were exposed for all to see as Blago became the Project Manager and then promptly made Bret Michaels in charge. Of everything.  Selita Ebanks, the Tenacity PM, was having a ball texting circles around Blago.

Even Donald Trump, who has probably heard every lame politician in the world make all kinds of promises and grand statements at any of his swanky soirees and fundraiser gala events, seem to have had a cud full of the Guv and his lawyer/politician nattering that made everyone shoot the "we ain't buying this" side eye stares.

Team Tenacity and Team RockSolid were tasked with creating a 3D interactive display plugging the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the new theme park attraction at Universal Studios that opens in June.

Team RockSolid was hamstrung from the beginning with techno-dope Blago who was out of his depth at the initial executive meeting, and who couldn't pronounce or keep straight the "Harry Potter" terminology.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels was placed in main man position, and he had an amusing star-struck crush moment with guest judge Erin Burnett - the antithesis of the skanks that roll on his "Rock of Love" shows. Beautiful, smart and not at all interested in the fawning rocker.

Let's discuss Sharon O versus the other ladies for a moment.

Osbourne cut right to the quick when telling Holly "Peete Robinson whatever" according to a frustrated Cyndi Lauper, that Peete and Summer were akin to watching ice melt. A true statement! Sharon is no politician!  And for that blast of honesty we love her. Lauper can annoy but she is so watchable and funny. Maria Kanellis has the best hair and eyebrows by the way, just sharing.

Moment of truth comes, and the men suck it yet again.  Rod cannot even assign the right person to come back to the boardroom with him, so he brings Curtis Stone (best hair for the men) and Michael Johnson into the boardroom.

In the end, Trump leveled Blago and gave him the chop.

Now, I have a bone to pick with someone.

"Yaz" - the birth control pill - was one of the ad sponsors and featured commercials during the broadcast last night. 

Yaz was a baseball great, number 8 for the Boston Red Sox. 

Carl "Yaz" Yastrzemski came to my middle school in the North Shore of Boston way back when to tell me to stay away from drugs like the White Horse and China White, which none of us kids knew what the hell he was talking about.

He later opened Yaz Ford on the Lynnway and sold my dad a Pinto, but that's another story. Yaz was my beloved childhood sports hero.  To hear his name hijacked for birth control pills is just sick and wrong.
