"Who Do You Think You Are" takes famous people and reveals their ancestral past. 

NBC sent Monsters and Critics Friday’s episode with Matthew Broderick, and one of the emotional moments from the episode in the highlight clip below is when Matthew finds out the fate of his great-great grandfather.

Also look below for two bonus scenes, where Matthew traces the rich history of his family serving in the armed forces.

Brooke Shields will discover she has ties to some very notable European royalty, get an early look at Friday’s episode with the two previews below.

A Soldier's Story Matthew discovers what happened to his great-great grandfather, who fought and survived in the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War.     

The Things He Carried Matthew takes a look at some of the things his grandfather used during WWI to save lives and survive.

Bonus Scenes: In His Shoes Matthew gets a first-hand look at what his great-great-grandfather experienced on the battle field with a musket rifle.

It Keeps Getting Better Brooke Shields has a special visit with one of her ancestors,King Henry IV.
