Tune in alert for Friday Night with Jonathan Ross airs Fridays, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on BBC America.
On the March 12 episode, Lady Gaga joins Jonathan and chats about her successful career and eccentric fashion which is now her famous trademark.
“I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels...I’d never give up my wigs and hats for anything...”
She also discusses how the death of good friend and fashion icon Alexander McQueen left her devastated, “He was the kindest human being, I feel left with nobody to inspire me anymore.”
And when discussing friends, Lady Gaga reveals she doesn’t have any close friends in the industry, “I’m an outcast from the music industry, I don't have any friends in the music business.”
Gaga also chats about her love life and says she doesn't have time for a relationship, “I don't have time to get to know anybody, I’m single and alone...nobody would put up with my craziness.” And even with her huge success she still manages to stay grounded, “I feel completely detached from the celebrity world, you never see me falling out of nightclubs.” Later she performs Telephone and Brown Eyes from her album The Fame.
Also joining Jonathan is True Blood star Stephen Moyer who discusses his role on the show and the recent vampire craze. He chats about the die-hard fans that actually want to be bitten - “They want you to break the skin!”
Stephen sets the record straight about his comments on another famous vampire, Twilight’s Robert Pattinson, “I said his character was the Diet Coke of vampires... I upset every 14 year old on the planet that day, I was getting hate mail.” Stephen also talks candidly about his relationship with co-star Anna Paquin, “We’ve been working together for two-and-a-half years...when we’re at home alone in bed I miss the crew a bit” and confirms they do have plans to marry.
British comedian and theatre star Michael Ball shares some laughs with Jonathan and reveals he’ll star in the UK’s title role of Sweeney Todd.
On the March 19 episode, Jonathan welcomes Gavin & Stacey star and co-creator James Corden, British Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams, singer and actress Charlotte Church, cast of British comedy series Outnumbered and musical performance by Cheryl Cole performing Parachute from her album 3 Words.
On the April 2 episode, Jonathan welcomes the new Timelord, Doctor Who’s Matt Smith, fresh from her Oscar triumph, Best Actress winner Sandra Bullock, award-winning actress Emma Thompson and music from British electronic pop duo Goldfrapp.
