Corey Feldman reacts to Haim's death on Larry King Live, video

Corey Feldman talked about his childhood friend and fellow actor Corey Haim on CNN's Larry King Live Wednesday night (March 10).

Haim was found dead in his home in Burbank this morning (March 10) and the cause of his death is under investigation.

Feldman, 38, famously co-starred with Haim in "The Lost Boys," "License to Drive" and "Dream a Little Dream." He reacted strongly to the death of Haim and called out those who belittle drug-addicted and overweight stars in the tabloids.

Recently the two starred in the A&E reality effort, "The Two Coreys" which ended by season three due in part to Haim's addiction issues.

Feldman said of his friend's death: "Until the coroner's report comes out and until we get specific evidence and until we know exactly what the toxicology report says, nobody knows [how Haim died], and nobody is going to know..."

"We are aware of the fact that Corey Haim has a long and detailed drug history and battled addiction for many, many years. I know it better than anybody, because I've been the guy stuffing charcoal down his throat when he was [overdosing]. I've been the guy trying to make him stand up or say a complete sentence. I've been through it with him many, many times, and it's happened very badly and very intensely through the years."

Feldman laid blame at the feet of tabloids magazines and the celebrity target machine TMZ which airs a TV show as well.

"Hopefully, he's going to be remembered as a beautiful, funny, enigmatic character who brought nothing but life and light and entertainment and art to all of our lives," Feldman said.
