Actor Zach Galifianakis did his thing last night on SNL, as he inserted himself into NBC shows such as Brian Williams’ Nightly News, 30 Rock, an old edition of SNL with Robin Williams and even the Wolf franchise, Law & Order.
NBC sent Monsters and Critics all the video clips from the segments last night where Zach did his piano musings and odd comedy on last night’s Saturday Night Live.
First up is his with monologue, then an appearance as a disco flute player on “What Up with That” and trip through several recognizable series such as 30 Rock and Law & Order in the Digital Short “Zach Drops by the Set.”
Plus, the return of the Kissing Family (note to SNL, let this one go please), Will Forte’s “Women’s History Month” song and two great performances from Vampire Weekend!
BONUS UPDATE:
For the night’s final sketch, Zach had to quickly shave his beard to get in character. But, having a live show means he only had a few minutes to do it! Watch as Zach runs backstage during Vampire Weekend’s performance to do some of his own costume work. If you ever wanted to know how SNL stars make costume changes on the fly, this clip will show you how!
