Fans of Sarah Palin hang on her every word, buy her book, attend her rallies and pray she runs for President.
Non fans pray Hollywood and the lure of a successful reality TV payday will keep the ex Governor busy and raking in dough so she will forget her political aspirations that stoke the Conservatives.
So goes Sarah Palin's malleable life, and like Bill Clinton, she is Teflon, deflecting all scandal (teen pregnancy) and gaffes (hand notes) to cheerfully turn what would have destroyed some into folksy charms her followers admire even more.
To the vexation of other TV personalities like Bill Maher, who did a segment on his HBO show "Real Time with Bill Maher" recently that mocked her hand-note writing propensity.
Uber Producer Mark Burnett (Survivor) said Thursday he is pitching a series to television networks that would be about Alaska seen through the eyes of Wasilla ex mayor, Sarah Palin.
ABC news reported that Palin and Burnett took meetings this week to noodle the idea with executives at ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, according to three broadcast executives, who ABC claims spoke on condition of anonymity.
Burnett said he approached the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate with the idea. It will be shot in the style of Discovery's "Planet Earth" show, highlighting the grandeur of the massive, resource rich state.
"What it's not is a reality show following her around, getting up in the morning or her family and all the salacious stuff," he told ABC News.
Palin will reportedly visit commercial fishing boats and tour mines and other spots unique to her state. "It's being in and experiencing the great charm and beauty of Alaska with Sarah Palin," he added.
Palin has signed on as a political news analyst for the Fox News Channel.
On Tuesday she visited NBC's "Tonight" show for the second night of Jay Leno's reintroduced Tonight Show.
