No spoilers to fear.
Spartacus nation counts the minutes, hours, days until Friday night, and no matter the horrible weather, a night of anticipatory pleasure awaits us all unburdened from our work weeks as we gather up with Doctore, Varro, Ashur, Spartacus, Naevia, Ilithyia and the couple sitting in the driver's seat controlling so many lives: Lucretia and Batiatus.
Episode 107 is titled 'Great And Unfortunate Things' and if you witnessed the last episode, you know Spartacus' heart was nearly out of his chest with excitement at the prospect of liberating Sura from slavery, and seeing her alive and well.
Not to be, and by Jupiter's cock, Batiatus will continue to play Dominus and control his investment by any means necessary.
Lucretia has other fish to fry and has the added prickly thorn of a horny Ilithyia who has set her wandering eyes on Crixus, Lucretia's side action.
Crixus continues his recovery under the twitchy Medicus' eye.
There is a somber and sad veil over the ludus, and pressure of Batiatus's control is unrelenting. Spartacus must make a choice: leave his past behind and assume the mantle of a champion gladiator, or die.
Spartacus: Blood and Sand airs Friday, 3/5 at 10pm et/pt on Starz. http://www.starz.com/spartacus
