Jon Gosselin's mixed messages on Kate's new DWTS gig

Jon Gosselin is making waves now that his ex Kate Gosselin has scored a payday with the ABC reality competition, “Dancing With the Stars.”

Kate will be spending more time in the arms of Tony Dovolani practicing her Paso Doble, Tango and Cha Cha, and the father of eight is allegedly demanding he be awarded more time with his kids in light of the hectic schedule of the series.

Us Weekly reports that Jon Gosselin is very unhappy. “Jon’s angry because doing ‘Dancing With the Stars’ will keep her away from the kids for days, and she still won’t let him have any extra custody,” a source close to Jon Gosselin told Us Weekly. “Nannies will watch them instead of Jon.”

Gosselin’s participation in “DWTS” broke is to secure a needed paycheck, and Us Weekly sources also claim that Kate is a fame addict.

“She’s obsessed with being a celebrity,” the source told the magazine, and she “doesn’t stop to think about whether or not the kids will miss her,” said the source.

Jon Gosselin's camp released a statement of support for Kate and her heel-kicking endeavors.  “He’s happy for her. She’s still part of his family, and he supports her 100 percent.”

Jon has been canvassing offers for anything to make money including rumored photo shoots with Playgirl, but nothing is confirmed so far.
