Snooki, Mr. Big and Vinny G escape roof collapse at Purim party

The smallscreen Gods were watching over "Jersey Shore" stars Snooki and Vinny G, and "Sex and the City's" Mr. Big at a Purim party yesterday.

At a party celebrating the Jewish festival of Purim on Saturday night, the roof caved in as shattered glass from the atrium of Sony Plaza in Manhattan showered the guests.

TMZ reports that the star attractions: Chris Noth, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Vinny Guadagnino were not injured.

Vinny Twittered, "Roof just collapsed at Purim event.... I think me and @sn00ki felt the wrath for not being Jewish."

Snooki and boyfriend Emilio Masella attended a party a the Solo Restaurant when the weight of snow and ice caused the glass atrium in the building to cave in.

Despite the roof collapse, the MTV reality star and other partygoers continued with their celebrations.

Snooki Tweeted; The roof may have fallen and no1 got hurt, but the party still goes on! . About a dozen people were treated for minor injuries. February 27 2010.

"It's okay Vin and I are still alive ... Omg roof just collapsed at the purim event! We thought the dj was beatin the beat hardcore but nope,the roof couldn't handle snooki and vin ..."

About a dozen people were treated for minor injuries and some were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, authorities said.

"It was scary, but I'm glad nobody got hurt," Snooki told the NY Daily News, and Vinny added, "It was loud."
