The Secret Life of the American Teenager goes Rogue

Fallen baby daddy Levi Johnston is stripping for Playgirl, mother Sarah Palin is stumping for book sales and possible presidential run support and now daughter Bristol Palin has an agent, and has been booked on an appropriate TV show.

Enter Bristol Palin: Actress on ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" coming to your TV set soon.

Palin, eldest daughter of the former Vice Presidential candidate is scheduled to guest star on an upcoming episode of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, ABC announced Tuesday.

Palin will play herself.

“I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about he consequences of teen pregnancy,” Palin, 19, said in a statement.

Shot in Los Angeles, the story will see Palin pal with main character Shailene Woodley at a music program for teen mothers.  Air date is this summer.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager airs Mondays (8 p.m. EST) and stars ex Brat Packer and John Hughes' muse Molly Ringwald, Mark Derwin, India Eisley, Ken Baumann, among others.

“Bristol Palin is the most famous teenage mother in America,” says the show’s executive producer Brenda Hampton, whose 7th Heaven also addressed the issue of teen pregnancy. “I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we’ve been exploring for a couple of seasons now.” –Stephen M.
