Reality TV dad Jon Gosselin and his ex network TLC have struck an accord.
The network released a statement: "TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation. All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC. "
There will be no return of the hit show, "Jon & Kate Plus 8," according to TLC sources who were quoted by People.com.
TLC slapped Gosselin with a suit for alleged breach of contract. The suit claimed that by making paid and unpaid TV appearances without the cable network's permission, Gosselin went on television with his attorney Mark Heller and refuted the claims.
Together they countersued to the tune of $5-million, claiming the network hurt his career by preventing him from working with other outlets.
Gosselin also filed legal papers to prevent the network from filming his eight children with his ex-wife, Kate.
Gosselin was seen at the Sundance film festival with Morgan Christie, reported to be a new girlfriend.
Kate, Jon's ex, is developing her own show with TLC series, and was earlier rumored to be part of Paula Deen's pilot that was produced by MomLogic, now shelved. She has since appeared on "The View" and been featured in makeover pictorials in various tabloid magazines.
