Rachel Uchitel gets her hands on The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka

Rachel Uchitel, the newly signed entertainment correspondent for Extra!, has won her way into The Bachelor reality TV series.

She told Extra! that she had been in love - but that finding Mr Right was a challenge. 'It's very hard to meet someone when you are working all the time or you are in a certain industry. It's very hard to meet somebody that has a totally different life and hours.'

Uchitel has worked in TV news and as a New York club promoter. The working girl was the first mistress of Tiger Woods to emerge in last year's astonishing scandal, her text messages discovered on Tiger's cell phone by Elin Nordegren as Tiger allegedly was asleep.

Uchitel, who hired power lawyer Gloria Allred after the news of the alleged dalliance in Australia broke, said: 'I'm very into loyalty, honesty and humor. I've always wanted to live in South Carolina. I think that whole Southern thing has a charm to it. I'd love to have a big house with weeping willows.
