Ellen DeGeneres is the new meat on "American Idol."
Extra posted an exclusive interview with new 'Idol' judge Ellen DeGeneres who sat down for an exclusive interview with Mario Lopez and dished about the judges' chemistry.
Hint: She is certainly not the "mean one" at the judging table.
"Compared to what people know of me and see of me every day on my show, it may appear I'm all of a sudden mean," said DeGeneres.
Observers say compared to Simon, she's not even close.
