Simon Monjack booted off Dr. Phil show

TV chat show host Dr. Phil McGraw was allegedly lied to by Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack, and the truth emerged during an interview scheduled to go live.

The National Enquirer reports exclusively that the mourning widower was booted off set after Dr. Phil learned he was not getting an exclusive on Monjack's take on Brittany's death, and his opinion on the contributing factors.

The Enquirer reports that Dr. Phil TV "was wrapping up a segment with Brittany's devastated husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, when a staff member passed him a note informing him that Simon had already given interviews to other media outlets. Dr. Phil exploded, ripped off his microphone and stormed off, according to a set insider."

The Enquirer source claims Monjack was essentially "thrown out."

Dr. Phil was quoted by the Enquirer source saying:  "What the hell is going on here? This was supposed to be exclusive and now I find out you've been shooting your mouth off all over town. I'm pulling the plug on this one. We're done!'"

Simon, 39, has a controversial past and reputation in Hollywood, with allegations that he has been involved in credit card fraud, debts and visa violations surrounding as well as falsifying IMDB credits.
