'Fat' Federline mines depression chub for cash on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club

Taking a play from Kirstie Alley's "Fat Actress"  yo-yo weight gains and subsequent TV deals that chronicle her weight loss, rapper Kevin Federline shared his weight gain hell to Access Hollywood.

All roads lead back to the dissolution of the marriage with Britney Spears, who processed the initial grief of the failed union in similar weight gain spikes.

Kevin got fat and his mum fretted about his health, and lucky for him that VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp,” came knocking.  He will star in the series debuting this February 8.

“They called me and they asked me if I wanted to do it and I had maybe 24 hours to decide because the show started taping the next day after that weekend,” he said. “It just couldn’t have come at a better time.”

“Once you get depressed, you don’t really feel like doing anything. You’re kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too.." shared Federline.

Divorce did his waistline in:

“A number of things between, I mean, everybody knows what happened with me and Brit. I’m not going to say that’s the total cause of it but, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression,” he said.

Father of four young children, Kevin sees himself getting married again in the future, and perhaps have even more kids:

“ I could see that happening too,” he said. " I’ll let the young ones grow up first and we’ll see.”

Federline did very well with his past WWE appearances, and may appear on future RAW episodes.
