Project Runway revealed last week that burlap is not a designer (or model's) friend and this week the remaining fashionistas must buck up and pair off in the competition.

Except for the fact that fledgling designers are more like spiders, and the fallout of the forced duos make for good TV for all of us.

Also in the fashion news: Breasts.

The existence of them and how bedevilling this part of the female anatomy is to haute couture designers.

Hadley Freeman of the Guardian UK argues that the fashion industry's main goal is to make you look different, not fetching, so much.

Hadley writes: "And this is why the breast issue is so ripe with possibility. Is there not something marvellous about an industry that has so little interest in the one part of a woman's anatomy that the rest of the world is obsessed with? One of the truly commendable things about fashion is how little interest it has in appealing to straight men, or making women look attractive to them. This, I've always maintained, is part of the reason why fashion gets such a bad rap; because it is basically a private-members' club that excludes men. "Fashion's just about appealing to gay men," one of my (straight) male friends sneered recently, as though that was a criticism. And thank God for it. As this column's life icon, Joan Rivers, said once when she saw a celebrity wearing a terrible dress allegedly chosen by her boyfriend, 'Well, at least you can say that her boyfriend is straight.' When it comes to aesthetics, straight men have no sense at all. After all, they're the ones so obsessed with mammary glands."

See?

What has this got to do with Project Runway, and breast-gifted Heidi Klum?

Nothing, but it was an interesting article and you should read Hadley's whole take on the Breast conundrum.

Now Lifetime has fired us the latest tune in alert for Thursday's new episode of Project Runway Season 7.

Tune in this Thursday at 10PM/9C to watch the designers butt heads when they have to work in teams of two.  As personalities clash in the workroom, tensions come to a head on the runway.

The guest judge is designer Matthew Williamson.
