Jennifer Lopez will feel the 'Glee' this season, on Fox

Louboutin lovin' Jennifer Lopez is scheduled to appear on Ryan Murphy's Golden Globe winning "Glee" this season.
Lopez, 40, earned herself a guest spot on "Glee," and the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, shared with Extra post-Golden Globes that he was hoping to put Lopez in a hairnet and kitchen apron.
"We are writing a role for Ms. Jennifer Lopez, who we love," Murphy said. "We want her to be a cafeteria lady."
Fox's award winning "Glee" - which won Best Television Series (Comedy or Musical)last night at the Globes ceremony - will return in fall 2010 for a second season, Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly announced Jan. 11.
The series will also be holding open auditions in a search for three new cast members in February and chronicling the search in a muli-part special leading up to the season two premiere.
"We've loved Glee ever since it was a pilot script," said Reilly in a statement. "It's been an incredible thrill to watch the show take root and see audiences embrace these characters in such a huge way this season."
"Glee" has been a mega cross-platform success for the network, with two certified gold records, over four million downloaded tunes and already capturing accolades and awards. along with the Globe win it took a spot on the American Film Institute's top 10 TV programs of the year.
"We would like to thank all the wonderful people who actually thought a musical would work on primetime television," said Murphy during his acceptance speech. "This show is about a lot of things -- it's about the importance of arts education, and this is for anybody and everybody who got a wedgie in high school."
"Glee" returns to FOX in April.
