NBC has announced that Thursday, January 14, Jimmy Kimmel is scheduled to join Jay Leno for a satellite interview on “The Jay Leno Show” (Monday-Friday, 10-11 p.m. ET).
During the “Ten @ Ten” which connects Leno via satellite with celebrities and newsmakers from around the world, Kimmel will be signing on from the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” stage in Hollywood, CA.
Previous participants in the segment include First Lady Michelle Obama, Justin Timberlake, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Miley Cyrus, LeBron James, Ben Roethlisberger, Amy Poehler, Senator John McCain, Toby Keith, Mel Gibson, Taylor Swift, Anderson Cooper and Kate Gosselin.
Also on tomorrow’s show, Dwayne Johnson will be in-studio and take to the track for Leno’s Green Car Challenge.
PopEater reports that sources close to former 'Tonight Show' host Jay Leno share that "he is furious with the way NBC has treated him and Conan O'Brien and is considering walking away from the entire mess with his head held high."
"Now that Conan has made it clear he is leaving the troubled network, Jay is considering doing the same. They have put Jay in a terrible position. It looks like he is the reason that Conan is now without a job. Jay is a great guy and it's not fair that due to NBC's stupidity he looks like the bad guy," a TV insider told Rob Shuter of PopEater.com.
