They grow up so quickly. In Miley Cyrus' case, very quickly, and she is soon to retire the character that made her a 'tween and teen superstar on television and on stage.

The Disney Channel confirmed to the New York Post that "Hannah Montana" starring Cyrus and her father Billy Ray will wrap production in 2010 and air its series finale in spring, 2011.

Hannah Montana's season-three finale, "Is Miley Saying Goodbye?" airs in mid-March, and reflects the real-life changes with the actress and her role. "It's one of the things [her character Miley Stewart] has been wrestling with for months," Disney Channel executive Andy Bonnett shared with the New York Post. "Whether it's time to make a decision to continue being Hannah Montana or just be a regular, ordinary girl."

The third season finale will air this March with Miley Stewart deciding whether to stay in Los Angeles or return to Tennessee.

Season four will reportedly continue to focus on her struggle to balance both lives.
