Grieving on Twitter: Is reality TV trainwreck Tila Tequila for real?

When someone you deeply, truly love dies, is your first instinct to take to your iPhone or Blackberry and start tweeting your inner most feelings to the world?

Apparently for reality TV star Tila Tequila, the Internet and all the trappings of a social media life is the perfect forum to vent grief with total strangers as well as DListed peers.

Tequila erroneously tweeted that Casey Johnson, the deceased heiress of the Johnson & Johnson fortune, was comatose and not dead, when in fact Johnson had been quite dead for many days, alone in her home, discovered by a cleaning woman.

Tequila has been relentless in her Twitter postings that kept reiterating they were "wifeys" and she was in fact engaged to the wealthy daughter of NFL team the Jets' owner, Woody Johnson.

It has been revealed in the media that Casey was a well-heeled "party-girl" who was cut off from her trust fund and lived in "Grey Gardens" squalor, and who adopted a child she ultimately could not care for when she was allegedly tired "of buying shoes and purses."

Johnson's own immediate family was clearly removed from her. Over the Christmas and New Years holidays she was found dead on Monday at age 30 in Los Angeles. She died alone in her home, had been dead for days, and no one allegedly close to her even had noticed.

"I miss her so much. Can't stop crying," tweeted Tequila who was composed enough to sit and bang out her text to her fans.  "Haven't slept for days. ... My entire house is filled with her stuff. I'm in bed without her here."

But many question why Johnson had been out of touch with Tequila for the long break, and why didn't Tequila question the lack of communication from Johnson over the social holiday season.  Johnson's last tweets were registered on December 29.
