Comedy Central "Insomniac" and "Gong Show" star Dave Attell is set to host The 27th Annual AVN Adult Movie Awards this January 9th, 2010.
Comedy Central "Insomniac" and "Gong Show" star Dave Attell is set to host The 27th Annual AVN Adult Movie Awards this January 9th, 2010.
The AVN Adult Movie Awards are to be held at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, and televised on the G4 network.
Since 1984, the televised event honors the top performers in the adult film industry and is attended by every major producer, director, actor and production company in the blue movie biz.
Hosted by comedian Dave Attell and adult stars Kayden Kross and Kirsten Price -- mainstream attendees also include Dave Navarro and presenter Margaret Cho with performances by hip hop talent Baby Bash.
Also confirmed are Da Stooie Brothers, Jesse Jane, Jessica Drake, Asa Akira, Julia Ann, Lisa Ann, Alektra Blue, Roxy DeVille, Sasha Grey, Audrey Hollander, Kimberly Kane, Kelli McCarty, Melissa Monet, Bree Olson, Hillary Scott, India Summer, John Stagliano, Belladonna and many more.

The AVN awards weeds through over 12,000 films released each year, and over 120 awards are given out this night in categories as diverse as Best Film, Best Video and Best Actress to Best Animated and Best Interactive. There are other catagories "honored" that include act-specific scenes.
