Mogul Donald Trump is bullish on the embattled golfer, Tiger Woods.
The "Celebrity Apprentice" star says: "Tiger Woods is going to be just fine."
The Donald tells Extra TV that Woods' image is Teflon coated:
"Tiger's a great athlete... one of the greatest athletes in the world," Trump told "Extra" from his New York City office Tuesday. "He's had a very interesting and traumatic couple of weeks [but] he's a wonderful guy."
Upwards of 12 women have been linked to the married golfer since his bizarre driveway accident many allege was caused by an irate Elin Nordegren's possible actions.
Trump continued, "Tiger is going to be hotter than ever before -- mark my words."
PepsiCo. brand Gatorade dropped Woods as spokesperson and announced they were discontinuing his namesake beverage.
Trump admits his indiscretions "may affect his endorsements a little bit," but thinks everything will blow over.
"It's a little bit like Kobe," he says, referring to Kobe Bryant, the married Los Angeles Lakers star who was accused of rape by a 20-year-old woman. Charges were dismissed in 2004.
Kobe then purchased a reported $4 million dollar ring to appease his wife.
"No one remembers the Kobe incident. Kobe went out and won a championship. He's a spectacular guy and a spectacular player," Trump told "Extra."
Trump -- who faced his own cheating scandal when he left wife Ivana Trump for Marla Maples in 1992 -- has a few words of advice for the golfer.
"I think what's important for Tiger right now [is to] get back on the course and start winning tournaments, and he'll do that. He's just the best golfer," Trump said. "He's a really talented person, and he's a really good person."
Trump admitted that Woods will "probably have a little bit of a different life because that's the way life works... His work will be a little different, but he's going to be just fine."
