Hurry! Time sensitive offer:
SNOOOOOW EPA/GEORGE FREY
The Weather Channel (TWC) gets into the holiday spirit with its “Guaranteed White Christmas” contest that will bring snow on Christmas Day to one location, no matter the forecast.
It may be sunny in Los Angeles or calm and clear in New Orleans, but imagine the joy and surprise when TWC brings snow, no matter where, on Christmas Day.
Many dream of having a white Christmas with snowflakes falling to the ground, and who better than the leading weather provider to make that dream come true?
TWC’s “Guaranteed White Christmas” contest runs from Nov. 16 - Dec. 6, where contestants can enter here to submit a short video describing why they deserve the ultimate gift of snow on Christmas Day.
Along with blanketing genuine snow at the home, TWC plans to broadcast live with on-air reports with the winner alongside meteorologist Adam Berg.
“Viewers rely on The Weather Channel for the most accurate forecasts and weather information; some even wish that we could actually control the weather. With the guaranteed white Christmas contest, we can do that for our winner,” said Geoffrey Darby, executive vice president of programming, The Weather Channel.
A panel of judges from TWC will select the finalists and one grand-prize winner based on uniqueness and creativity of their video submissions.
Five finalists will receive a $100 gift card for www.weather.com/store and an autographed CD by Aaron Neville, whose single “Please Don’t Forget” is included in TWC’s “Holiday Party” CD. The contest is open to residents of the continental United States. The grand-prize winner will be announced on or around Dec. 9.
