Deen was at an event for Hosea Feed The Hungry in Georgia where she delivered a remarkable 25,000lbs of food for the needy.
Popular TV Chef Paula Deen caught a flying ham right in the face.
Proving that no good deed seemingly goes unpunished, Ms. Deen was gamely helping the less fortunate in a charity food drive, when bad timing caught her unaware.
Deen was at an event for Hosea Feed The Hungry in Georgia where she delivered a remarkable 25,000lbs of food for the needy.
WGCL of Atlanta reported that a worker accidentally hit Deen right in the nose with a badly timed pass off.
Paula Deen's trademark bonhomie surfaced, and despite the minor injury she quipped: "I ran head on into a hog."
The incident was captured on camera by Atlanta television station WGCL.
"And I turned around to take another ham off the truck, and turned round and all of a sudden this... ham that weighed 200 pounds hit me full on into the face and about knocked me cuckoo, but I'm fine. Maybe it knocked some sense into my head," said Deen.
The incident was captured by Atlanta television station WGCL.
